Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and business name. If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment information — we never store credit card numbers.

Business data: When you create an AI agent, we store the knowledge base you provide (services, hours, pricing, FAQs). If you use our website scraper, we extract publicly available information from the URL you provide.

Conversation data: We store conversations between your AI agent and your customers to provide the service, display transcripts in your dashboard, and improve agent responses. Conversations are associated with your business account.

Usage data: We track conversation counts, token usage, and API calls for billing and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, maintain, and improve the AgentErgon service
• To process your conversations through AI models (Claude by Anthropic)
• To send transactional emails (account verification, billing, usage alerts)
• To calculate billing based on your conversation usage
• To display analytics and conversation transcripts in your dashboard

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform:

• Anthropic: Conversation content is sent to Claude AI for processing. Anthropic does not use API inputs for model training. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Stripe: Payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Twilio: SMS delivery. See Twilio's privacy policy.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your business data or conversations for advertising.

4. AI Disclosure

AgentErgon agents are AI-powered. In compliance with California SB 243, Colorado AI Act, and Washington HB 2225, all agents include disclosure that customers are interacting with an AI system. Business owners are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and conversation history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete all associated data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@agentergon.com. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for all stored data. API keys are generated using cryptographically secure random number generators. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
